Sandra Gulland

Sandra Gulland is an American-born Canadian novelist known for her meticulously researched historical fiction. She is best known for her internationally bestselling Josephine B. Trilogy, which chronicles the life of Josephine Bonaparte. She has also written novels set in the court of Louis XIV, including 'Mistress of the Sun' and 'The Shadow Queen', as well as young adult fiction. Before committing to writing full-time in 1985, she worked as a book editor.
