Sir Kingi Matutaera Ihaka (1921–1993) was a distinguished New Zealand Māori Anglican priest, broadcaster, musician, and Māori language champion. He served as the Māori Language Commissioner and held senior positions within the Anglican Church. He is widely remembered for his cultural contributions, including his popular adaptation of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' titled 'A Pukeko in a Ponga Tree'.
