Laura Childs is the pseudonym for Gerry Schmitt, a New York Times bestselling author known for her cozy mystery series, including the Tea Shop Mysteries, the Scrapbook Mysteries, and the Cackleberry Club Mysteries. Before becoming a full-time author, she was a Clio Award-winning advertising writer and CEO of her own marketing firm, Mission Critical Marketing. She has also authored several screenplays and produced a reality TV show.
