Jael Ealey Richardson is a Canadian author, educator, and the founder and artistic director of the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD). She is best known for her memoir, The Stone Thrower: A Daughter's Lessons, a Father's Life, which explores her relationship with her father, CFL quarterback Chuck Ealey, and her debut novel, Gutter Child. Her work often addresses themes of identity, race, and social justice.
