Beverly Lewis is an American author known for her prolific work in Christian fiction, particularly the Amish romance genre. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she grew up in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country and was raised in the Assemblies of God denomination. Her interest in the Amish and Mennonite communities stems from her own family heritage, specifically her maternal grandmother. Before becoming a full-time writer, she was a schoolteacher and an accomplished musician. She has written over 100 books for both adults and children, including numerous series that have appeared on bestseller lists such as the New York Times and USA Today.
