Laura Spence-Ash

Laura Spence-Ash is an American author known for her debut novel, Beyond That, the Sea (2023). She is a former co-founding editor of the online literary journal CRAFT and has taught at institutions including Rutgers University. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in various publications such as One Story and the Ploughshares blog. She earned her MFA in Fiction from Rutgers-Newark.
