Margot Lee Shetterly is an American nonfiction writer, researcher, and entrepreneur, best known for her #1 New York Times bestselling book 'Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race'. She is the founder of The Human Computer Project, an organization dedicated to archiving the work of women who served as computers and mathematicians at NACA and NASA. She is a scholar-in-residence at the University of Virginia.
