Tara Westover

Tara Westover is an American memoirist, essayist, and historian. She is best known for her 2018 memoir, Educated, which chronicles her upbringing in a survivalist Mormon family in rural Idaho, her lack of formal schooling, and her eventual journey into academia, culminating in a PhD in intellectual history from the University of Cambridge.
