David Wroblewski
David Wroblewski is an American novelist born in 1959 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He grew up on a farm in rural Wisconsin, an experience that heavily influenced his writing. Before becoming a full-time author, he had a long career in software research and development. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin and an MFA in creative writing from the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. He is best known for his internationally bestselling debut novel, 'The Story of Edgar Sawtelle' (2008), and its prequel, 'Familiaris' (2024), both of which were selected for Oprah's Book Club. He lives in Colorado with his partner, the writer Kimberly McClintock.
