Lee Maracle (1950–2021) was a celebrated Indigenous Canadian writer, academic, and activist of the Stó:lō nation. A prolific author of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, her work was instrumental in challenging colonial and patriarchal structures in Canadian literature and advocating for Indigenous women's voices and social justice.
