Sarah Waters
Sarah Ann Waters is a Welsh novelist best known for her historical fiction novels, which often feature Victorian settings and lesbian protagonists. She holds a PhD in English literature from Queen Mary, University of London, and her academic research into 19th-century literature significantly influenced her writing career. Her works have received widespread critical acclaim and numerous literary awards, and several have been adapted for television and film.
