Rebecca Starford is an Australian author, editor, and publisher. She is the co-founder and publishing director of the literary journal Kill Your Darlings. She has worked for Text Publishing and Affirm Press and has written for various publications including The Guardian, The Age, and The Australian. She is known for her memoir 'Bad Behaviour' (2015), which was adapted into a television miniseries, and her novels 'The Imitator' (published as 'An Unlikely Spy' in the US) and 'The Visitor'. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Queensland.
