Michelle Richmond is an American novelist, essayist, and short story writer, known for her psychological thrillers and literary mysteries. Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, she later settled in Northern California. She is a New York Times bestselling author whose works have been published in over 30 languages. Richmond is also an educator who has taught in various MFA programs and is the founder and publisher of Fiction Attic Press.
