K.L. Slater (also published as Kim Slater) is a British author best known for psychological thrillers and crime fiction. She began publishing adult psychological thrillers in 2016 (Safe With Me) after a career change and postgraduate study in creative writing. Slater has sold over three million copies worldwide, written bestselling audio originals, and previously published Carnegie-nominated young adult novels under the name Kim Slater. She lives with her husband in a small Nottinghamshire village and holds an MA in Creative Writing.
