Michael Stone
Michael Stone (1974–2017) was an internationally recognized Buddhist teacher, author, psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and mental health advocate. He founded the Centre of Gravity community in Toronto, taught widely in North America and Europe, hosted the Awake in the World podcast, and wrote several books that integrate yoga, Buddhist practice, psychotherapy, and social/ecological engagement. His work emphasized ethics-based spirituality, social action, and making contemplative practices accessible to contemporary urban practitioners.
