S.J.A. Turney

Simon Turney (publishing as S.J.A. Turney) is a British historical novelist and historian best known for prolific work set in Antiquity, Roman times, the medieval era and early Ottoman period. He writes historical fiction and historical fantasy across multiple series (including the Marius' Mules books, Wolves of Odin and The Ottoman Cycle), and has published with mainstream houses as well as independently. He lives in the north of England and is active as an author of both adult and younger-reader historical titles.
