Jodi Thomas is the pen name of Jodi Koumalats, a New York Times and USA Today bestselling American novelist from Amarillo, Texas. A fifth-generation Texan, she writes principally historical and contemporary romances often set in Texas. A former teacher and certified marriage and family counselor, Thomas has won multiple RITA Awards and was inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame. She has served as writer-in-residence at West Texas A&M University and has published dozens of novels and short stories.
