Lauren Weisberger
Lauren Weisberger (born March 28, 1977) is an American novelist best known for her 2003 debut The Devil Wears Prada, a roman à clef based on her experience as an assistant at Vogue. She has written multiple bestselling contemporary fiction novels often centered on fashion, friendship, and modern women's lives, including Everyone Worth Knowing, When Life Gives You Lululemons, and Where the Grass Is Green and the Girls Are Pretty. Weisberger previously worked as a writer and editor for Vogue and Departures and lives in New York.
