Madeleine Wickham (Sophie Kinsella)

Madeleine Sophie Wickham is an English novelist who published earlier works under her own name and achieved international bestseller status writing as Sophie Kinsella. She is best known for the Shopaholic series (Confessions of a Shopaholic) and numerous comic romantic novels and standalones. Trained in PPE at Oxford, she worked as a financial journalist before becoming a full‑time novelist.
