Lesley Kara is a British author of psychological thrillers, best known for her debut The Rumour and subsequent novels Who Did You Tell?, The Dare, The Apartment Upstairs and The Other Tenant. Her debut was a Sunday Times Top Ten bestseller and has been published in multiple territories; she lives in Kent and previously worked as a lecturer and manager in further education. An alumna of the Faber Academy ‘Writing a Novel’ course, she is co‑founder and co‑host of the In Suspense podcast.
