
Alicia Dujovne Ortiz
Alicia Dujovne Ortiz (born in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine journalist, novelist, biographer and essayist. Trained at the University of Buenos Aires, she worked for major Argentine newspapers before going into exile in France in the late 1970s. Living in Paris and later Toulouse, she wrote novels, poetry, chronicles and several acclaimed biographies (including works on María Elena Walsh, Diego Maradona and Eva Perón), and has served as a literary adviser for Gallimard. She has received a Guggenheim fellowship and multiple Konex awards.
