Nick Sharratt

Nick Sharratt (born 9 August 1962) is a British author and illustrator of children's books. He has illustrated and/or written around 300 books, and is known for bold, brightly coloured illustrations. He has collaborated extensively with authors such as Jacqueline Wilson, Julia Donaldson, Michael Rosen and Jeremy Strong, and was the official illustrator for World Book Day in 2006. His best-known picture books include Shark in the Park, You Choose (with Pippa Goodhart) and Don't Put Your Finger in the Jelly, Nelly!.
