Tricia (Patricia) Wastvedt (born 1954) is a British novelist and teacher. Her debut novel The River was longlisted for the Orange Prize; she followed it with The German Boy and other works. She studied Creative Arts and holds an MA in Creative Writing, teaches at Bath Spa University, works as a manuscript editor, and lives and writes in the West Country (Somerset/Bath).
