James Roy
James Roy (born 1968 in Trundle, New South Wales) is an Australian writer of fiction for children and young adults. Raised partly in Papua New Guinea and Fiji as the child of missionary parents, Roy has published more than 30 books including critically acclaimed works such as Town and Billy Mack's War. He lives in the Blue Mountains, Australia, and is a regular visitor to schools and literary festivals.
