Ava Reid (born 1996) is an American novelist known for mythic, atmospheric fantasy novels for young adult and adult audiences. Her debut novel The Wolf and the Woodsman (HarperVoyager, 2021) drew on Hungarian history and Jewish mythology; she later gained wider recognition with A Study in Drowning, which reached the New York Times bestseller list. Reid studied at Barnard College and often explores themes of identity, otherness, and folklore in her work.
