Martin Walker

Martin Walker (born 1947) is a British journalist and novelist, best known for the Bruno, Chief of Police series of crime novels set in the Périgord (Dordogne) region of France. Formerly a longtime correspondent and editor at The Guardian and later an international correspondent and senior figure at UPI and think tanks, Walker has written both non-fiction works on history and politics and a widely translated series of mysteries blending culinary and rural French life with detective plots.
