Rebecca Tope

Rebecca Tope (born 1948) is a British crime novelist and journalist, best known for a number of cosy crime series set in the English countryside, including the Cotswold Mysteries and the Lake District Mysteries. Her work features recurring amateur sleuths such as Thea Osborne and Persimmon Brown; she has also ghost-written novelisations for the ITV series Rosemary & Thyme and founded the small press Praxis Books. She lives on a smallholding in rural Herefordshire.
