Nathan Ripley
Nathan Ripley is the pseudonym of Toronto-based writer Naben Ruthnum. Under the Ripley name he published psychological thrillers including Find You in the Dark and Your Life Is Mine. As Naben Ruthnum he is the author of the essay collection Curry: Eating, Reading, and Race and has won the Writers' Trust/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize for short fiction. Ruthnum is of Mauritian descent, has written for Canadian newspapers and magazines, and has worked as a novelist, critic, and screenwriter.
