Mark Winegardner

Mark Winegardner (born November 24, 1961) is an American novelist and short-story writer best known for authorized sequels to Mario Puzo's The Godfather (The Godfather Returns, 2004; The Godfather's Revenge, 2006). Born and raised in Bryan, Ohio, Winegardner graduated magna cum laude from Miami University and earned an MFA in fiction from George Mason University. His other works include Crooked River Burning, The Veracruz Blues, and a short-story collection, That's True of Everybody.
