William Landay

William Scott Landay (born July 23, 1963) is an American novelist and former lawyer. A former assistant district attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, he is the author of the crime novels Mission Flats, The Strangler, and the bestselling Defending Jacob, which was adapted as a television miniseries. His debut, Mission Flats, won the John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger for best first crime novel.
