Nikki van Schyndel is a Canadian wilderness survivalist, guide and author. She spent nineteen months living primitively in the Broughton Archipelago off the coast of British Columbia and recounts that experience in her memoir Becoming Wild (also listed as Living Wild). She has trained with and taught under North American survivalists and primitive artisans, graduated from the Dominion Herbal College (BC), and runs/has run wilderness guiding operations based in Echo Bay, British Columbia.
