Ursula Vernon (pen name T. Kingfisher) is an American writer, illustrator, and webcomic creator known for works across children's literature and adult fantasy and horror. She created the Hugo-winning webcomic Digger, the Dragonbreath and Hamster Princess children's series, and adult novels such as Nettle & Bone and What Moves the Dead. Vernon has won multiple major genre awards (Hugo, Nebula, Mythopoeic, Dragon Award) and writes both short fiction and novels under her own name and as T. Kingfisher.
