J D. Robb (pen name of Nora Roberts)

Eleanor Marie Roberts (published as Nora Roberts and under the pseudonym J.D. Robb) is an American best-selling novelist known for prolific output in romance and romantic suspense. Writing as J.D. Robb she authors the In Death series of futuristic police procedurals featuring Eve Dallas; under Nora Roberts she is celebrated for numerous romance and romantic-suspense novels. Her career began with Irish Thoroughbred (1981) and she has published hundreds of titles and sold hundreds of millions of copies worldwide.
