Cube Kid

Cube Kid is the pen name of Erik Gunnar Taylor. A lifelong fan of video games—particularly Minecraft—he began writing fan fiction at a young age. His first novel, The Diary of a Minecraft Villager, was self-published as an ebook in February 2015 and gained rapid popularity within the Minecraft community. The Diary of an 8‑Bit Warrior series expanded from that success into multiple books, graphic novel adaptations, and translations into several languages. Cube Kid's work is known for its journal-style, humor, and video game–inspired settings aimed at young readers.
