Marie Rutkoski (born March 5, 1977) is an American author of books for children, young adults, and adults, and a professor of English literature at Brooklyn College. She is best known for The Winner's Trilogy (The Winner's Curse, The Winner's Crime, The Winner's Kiss) and has published adult fiction including Real Easy. Rutkoski holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
