Angela Pneuman

Angela Pneuman is an American fiction writer best known for the short story collection Home Remedies and the novel Lay It on My Heart. Her fiction has appeared in Best American Short Stories (2004, 2012), Ploughshares, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Iowa Review, Glimmer Train and other literary magazines. She has been a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford and a Presidential Fellow at SUNY Albany, and has taught fiction writing in Stanford Continuing Studies. She has also contributed nonfiction and criticism to outlets including The Believer and Salon.
