Han Nolan
Han Nolan (born Helen Harris Walker August 25, 1956) is an American author of young adult fiction. She has published multiple novels addressing complex emotional and social themes for teen readers, and won the 1997 U.S. National Book Award for Young People's Literature for Dancing on the Edge. Her work often explores coming-of-age issues, family dynamics, mental health, and social justice topics. Nolan has taught in Hollins University’s graduate programs and maintains a personal website.
