Kathryn Holmes
Kathryn Holmes is an American author of books for children and young adults. Her young adult novels include The Distance Between Lost and Found (2015) and How It Feels to Fly (2016). She is the author of the Class Critters chapter-book series (including Tally Tuttle Turns Into a Turtle; David Dixon’s Day as a Dachshund; and Madison Morris is NOT a Mouse!) and co-author (with MarcyKate Connolly) of the middle-grade novel The Thirteenth Circle (2024). Holmes grew up in Maryville, Tennessee, holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School, and lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she also works as a freelance dance journalist.
