Alex Flinn
Alex Flinn (born October 23, 1966) is an American author best known for young adult novels and modern retellings of classic fairy tales. A former attorney, she studied vocal performance at the University of Miami and earned a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Her novels—such as Breathing Underwater, Beastly, A Kiss in Time, and Towering—have appeared on bestseller lists, received multiple library and teen-reading honors, and have been translated into many languages. Beastly was adapted into a feature film in 2011.
