David A. Robertson
David A. Robertson (born January 12, 1977) is a Canadian Cree author, public speaker, and storyteller from Winnipeg, Manitoba. A member of the Norway House Cree Nation, he has written widely for children, young adults and adults across picture books, middle-grade novels, graphic novels and memoir. His books include Governor General's Literary Award winners and titles frequently used in Canadian classrooms and libraries. Robertson's work often explores Indigenous histories, identity, intergenerational memory and the legacy of residential schools.
