Karen Miller (born in Vancouver, Canada; raised in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian novelist best known for epic fantasy series such as Kingmaker, Kingbreaker and the Godspeaker trilogy. She has also written tie-in novels for Stargate SG-1 and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Before becoming a full-time writer she worked in a variety of roles including publishing, telecommunications and ran a science fiction/fantasy bookshop. She also writes under the pen name K. E. Mills.
