Steve Perry (born August 31, 1947) is an American author and television writer best known for science fiction and fantasy novels, including the Matador series, numerous tie-in novels for franchises such as Star Wars, Alien and Conan, and novelizations like Shadows of the Empire and Men in Black. He has also written for animated television and collaborated on the Tom Clancy's Net Force series.
