Michael Ledwidge is an American novelist from the Bronx, New York. He sold his first novel at 26 and has written numerous bestselling novels, including many coauthored with James Patterson (notably the Michael Bennett series). His work has been adapted for television (the novel Zoo became a three-season CBS series). Ledwidge has worked as a Park Avenue doorman and a Manhattan outdoor telephone technician and participated in Ground Zero recovery efforts after 9/11. He lives in Connecticut.
