Matthew Quirk is a New York Times bestselling American novelist and former journalist. He studied history and literature at Harvard College and spent several years reporting for The Atlantic on crime, private military contractors, terrorism prosecutions, and international gangs before turning to fiction. Quirk is best known for political thrillers such as The Night Agent (adapted as a Netflix series). He lives in San Diego.
