Roy Moxham

Roy Moxham (born 13 September 1939) is a British writer and former archive conservator whose books explore little-known historical subjects, often through travel and archival research. His best-known works include The Great Hedge of India and A Brief History of Tea; his writing draws on personal experience as a tea planter in East Africa and on extensive research into imperial histories. He has worked as Senior Conservator at the Senate House Library, University of London, and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
