Craig Smith

Craig Smith (born 1972) is a New Zealand musician, songwriter and children’s author best known for the viral children’s book and song The Wonky Donkey. Originally a performer and recording artist, Smith adapted his award-winning children’s song into a picture book illustrated by Katz Cowley; the book won the New Zealand Post Children’s Choice Award and gained international attention after a 2018 viral video. He continues to write, perform and release children’s music and books.
