Louise O'Neill
Louise O'Neill (born 1985) is an Irish novelist and journalist from Clonakilty, County Cork. She writes primarily for young adults and is known for tackling feminist issues, consent, and contemporary social themes. Her debut novel Only Ever Yours (2014) won several newcomer prizes; her follow-up, Asking For It (2015), was a bestseller in Ireland and received significant critical attention and awards. She has also published novels for adult readers and works as a freelance journalist and columnist.
