Marion Zimmer Bradley
Marion Zimmer Bradley (June 3, 1930 – September 25, 1999) was an American author and editor best known for the Darkover series and the Arthurian retelling The Mists of Avalon. She wrote across fantasy, science fantasy and historical fantasy, edited anthologies (including Sword and Sorceress) and founded Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine. After her death she was the subject of serious posthumous allegations of sexual abuse made by family members and others, which have affected her legacy and reception.
