Boris Starling (born 1969) is a British novelist, screenwriter and newspaper columnist best known for his debut thriller Messiah, which was adapted by the BBC into a long-running television series. A former Fleet Street journalist and political-risk consultant, Starling has written multiple crime novels (also publishing some work under the pen name Daniel Blake), as well as non-fiction and ghostwritten autobiographies. He studied history at Trinity College, Cambridge and lives in Dorset, England.
