Sherwood Smith (born 1951) is an American author of fantasy and science fiction for young adults and adults, best known for works set in the Sartorias-deles world (including Crown Duel and the Wren books). She has published over fifty books, been a finalist for the Nebula Award, and received honors such as an Anne Lindbergh Honor Book; she has also worked as a teacher and is active in the writing community.
